We are currently working on a lot of new material, and practicing about every 2 weeks. Hopefully, we will have a few more gigs lined up in the near future, and will also be able to get some of our new material recorded and produced. We would also like to say thanks to everyone who bought our latest EP 'Rest Assured' which proved to be very popular, and had a great response!

Fair amount of news, but this time from Mike!
Well, it is half way through our holidays and we are working on a number of things for all you fans! Firstly, we are expecting out new EP entitled 'Rest Assured' to be ready the beginning of next week. This has 5 new songs, as well as the two which are already on MP3. If you want a copy just send us an email with your address. We are still thinking bout the price, but I'm sure it'll be a good deal. We also will have EchoRed T-Shirts and Hoodies available for you very soon. As Charlie said, the 5 new songs will also be available on line at Vitaminic.co.uk or mp3.com/EchoRed We are playing at St K's again in July, and also the famous 'Lack of Talent' at Charterhouse school. We are also currently organising a number of venues in London to play at in the summer hols! Thanks, Mike.

Wow - lots of news!
Well, that was really a long time not to write anything wasn't it? Shocking laziness from me I'm afraid, but it's ok, because no-one ever reads this page anyway I'm sure. Either way, there's lots of good news to be told - firstly, we haven't split up, as seems to have been rumoured. Secondly, we're back and fresh with a whole load of new songs, and we've recorded five of them. As yet, they're not available on the internet, but they will be very soon. We now have enough songs to make a cd of them and refer to it as an EP, which we're pretty proud of. Anyway, we're going to get a lot of copies of it printed and then make sure lots of people get to listen to it. All pretty exciting news though I'm sure you'll agree. We're also going to play some more gigs I think if we ever get any organised. Right, I'll try and keep this site more regularly updated, I promise.

Mp3.com
Sorry I haven't posted that much here for a while - holidays and all that - you know how it is. Anyway, recent news is that the mp3.com thing has now come through, so you can hear our songs for yourselves now. We're also on Vitaminic.co.uk, so you can also go to see our page there. At the moment, we're just trying to get back into the swing of things at school, and start practising again. Stay tuned for all of the gigs we have this term, and watch out for a recording or two we're hopefully going to be doing in a couple of months. Cheers.

Mp3.com
The people at mp3.com have been completely incompetent so far, and have, as yet, failed to approve our two songs. They say that it normally takes 3-4 working days, and we've been waiting for 5 now, but hopefully, it should come through some time soon. Anyway, the website is now pretty much completely finished, except for the Mailing List part and the Feedback part, so there is some good news I guess. No word yet on our next recording unfortunately.

New Website
Okay, the new website is just about coming together now. I know a lot of the pages haven't been done, but the ones that have are looking quite cool. We're currently trying to get our music up on MP3.com, but they seem to be taking their time to decide whether our songs are too offensive or not. Anyway, when that's up, feel free to get our couple of songs. It should be really cool.

Farnham Park Festival!
Well, I'm sure you're all just desperate to know how this massive gig that we've been going on about for ages went, aren't you? Well, it was pretty damn good I guess. We got there in the morning having never seen the stage before, and it was truly awesome. Literally like a not that much smaller version of Glastonbury. We're talking domed style stage, massive P.A. system and a whole lot of space as well. We brought along one of our amps, and after about a million years, we were finally allowed to get it set up on stage. Anyway, we started playing at about 1pm, and although there weren't quite as many people there as we had hoped (shame on you!), we still played pretty well, with every band member on top form. Anyway, congratulations to Sam for finally learning all the lyrics to the songs he had to sing (not that it didn't take him a while, but I'll say no more...), even if only with the help of a few sheets at his feet. We played 11 songs in total for about 45 minutes, and we had a pretty good time. There was a recording done on minidisc, which hopefully should also be on MP3.com when I can get around to it, but I'm not promising anything.
Anyway, apart from us, the people who came were treated to a fat set from Tubal Cain (the most musically talented band you'll find for quite a way, and pretty awesome live too), a really good set from Devil Drug Monkey, who have improved massively since we saw them last (nice one lads), then No Label, who, unfortunately, escaped my attention as I had to wander off somewhere, but who were according to other people, pretty damn good. After them, Duff Muffin, an amazing ska band, entertained everybody with a really cool, upbeat set, and finally, Alternative Carpark, who are, by a long way, my favourite band of all time, rounded off the evening with a truly amzing set. Oh, and thanks to DJ Lively, and the MC dude, whose name escapes me, who were not received quite as well as they deserved to be. Anyway, it was cool, and if you missed it, you should really regret it. Charlie.
